Fibra operates a fiber broadband net in the Mälardalen region near Stockholm in Sweden. Fibra is a joint venture between municipals around Mälardalen. The primary focuses is to expand the broadband net to rural areas, make the broadband capacity higher, support and service and also foster equal competition between broadband providers.
I was responsible for the new visual identity, communications concept and design of the new website. The three brand values for Fibra were: Community builders, World class and Challenger. The communication concept was based on the fact that all Fibras competitors work hard with binding periods, locking customers to one provider, and profits. As a municpal company Fibra instead stands for openness and accessibility for everyone.
We call the concept: ”Befibra Sverige”. A smart way in swedish to say: ”Freedom and fiber to Sweden”.
